About

With a background in the textile industry initially and later 15 years as an Art and Design lecturer I am now self-employed. I am driven by an absolute love of painting and textiles. I enjoy creating detailed decorative multimedia textile outcomes that utilise illustration, free machine embroidery and 3D elements. I use sketchbooks as well as my pieces to tell stories or send messages to the viewer.

I have been involved in many community art projects and art exhibitions and am a member of ReMix Art and Design Group.I live locally, exhibit my paintings, teach textile workshops, and take commissions for detailed murals.
