The exhibition begins with the story of the small artist community who took on the challenge of creating our heritage centre. From planning, painting, sculpting and shaping, we’ll be sharing images and memories with the help of our local supporters.

There will also be a competition for the little ones, helping to keep them busy while the grown-ups take in the history around Gallery 3.

Were you involved with Castle Park Art Centre? From our founding sponsor, Jim Cox, through to the varied exhibitions and artists we feature today, we want to celebrate everyone and everything that has been part of our story. A memory board will be available throughout the exhibition for visitors to share their experiences.

Four decades of memories is a precious thing to curate, especially for a much-loved art and community centre in such a beautiful historic setting in Frodsham.

This free exhibition is designed to stir memories, recognise contributions, tell stories and celebrate what is possibly Frodsham’s favourite hidden treasure.
