A lifetime with pencils, pens and paints by Jean Harley

I cannot remember a time when I did not draw or paint ....  managing to attend courses during a career in finance and raising a family ....  learning to use all mediums and exploring differing subjects ...maybe becoming known as. ‘ jack of all trades ‘ For over 30 years been accepting commissions in any subject , mood or material ...belonging to and exhibiting with several art groups ...mainly in the North ...and with 3 or 4 other artists ..but have never had a Solo Exhibition ..

I thought it was perhaps time that I did ... !

During the exhibition I intend to spend time now and again in gallery as ‘ artist in residence ‘ on any days when I have time available ...so no fixed dates yet .
Happy to sit painting , talk to visitors about my work , hope to see a few old friends ..
