Gallery 1 (Ground Floor)
The Arts Centre's premier exhibition space (also known as the Jim Cox Gallery) for shows of exceptional artistic merit that demonstrate professional standards of practice and presentation.
This is our main showcase and largest gallery space that is most utilised by established/professional artist or art groups which can cater for exhibitions of large works (up to 1.8m high) or exhibitions including large quantity of works e.g. large art groups.
The gallery has various options available for showing 3D work – plinths and glass cabinets for showing sculptures, jewellery etc., and digital works – TV screens and projectors, and for selling prints or cards alongside the exhibition pieces.
Gallery 2 (Ground Floor)
This is the home of our annual 20/20 exhibition - a flexible exhibition space that supports artistic development, experimentation, and community engagement while accommodating workshop activity.
Gallery 2 is considered to be our main working gallery that provides multi-use facilities for exhibitions, workshops and group meet ups. This gallery has lots of natural light provided by skylights and is ideal for new or emerging artists/art groups or exhibitions for small to medium-sized wall hung works (up to 1m high).
Gallery 3 (Upstairs)
This is a playful, ever‑evolving exhibition space that fuels artistic risk‑taking, invites community curiosity, and hums with the energy of active workshops.
Gallery 3 the second of our large gallery spaces with high ceilings and natural light. The gallery offers suitable space for all levels which can cater for large exhibitions for individual artists/art groups and is ideal for exhibitions of 3D work. This gallery is accessible via lift or stairs.

Link Gallery (Ground Floor)
The Link Gallery provides an informal exhibition opportunity that enhances visitor experience and offers visibility to a broad range of artists.
The Link provides a corridor-style gallery space suitable for small to medium sized works. It offers viewing of work under plentiful natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights. It is positioned in the centre of the building therefore is well-travelled by our customers whilst also being visible to passers-by from outside the Centre.
Foyer Gallery (Ground Floor)
The Foyer Gallery provides a welcoming and inclusive exhibition environment that celebrates local creativity and encourages community participation
The Foyer provides the smallest and most affordable exhibition space which can accommodate 5 or 6 works up to 1m high or is ideal for the exhibition of many smaller works. This space has the highest footfall at the Centre due to it being part of the Cafe space so there would be plenty of eyes on your work.

All five galleries are free to visit throughout the year, funded by supporters, donors and our café.
No booking required.
6-Week Programme
Each exhibition runs for approximately 6 weeks, giving you time to return and discover something new with every visit to Frodsham.
Works for Sale
Most works exhibited are available to purchase here at the centre. Please make an enquiry with one of our team in the cafe or in the office.
