Make a Difference in Frodsham
Castle Park Arts Centre is run largely by dedicated volunteers who give their time, skills and enthusiasm to keep this place thriving. We rely on our volunteer team for everything from staffing the galleries and hanging exhibitions to helping at events and supporting the café.
No experience in the arts is needed — just a friendly manner, reliability and a willingness to help. We'll train you, support you and make sure you feel part of our community from day one.
Volunteering roles include:
- Gallery steward — welcoming visitors and sharing the story of each exhibition

Events support — helping set up and run workshops, concerts and open evenings
- Café assistance — supporting the team during busy periods
- Exhibition installation — hanging artworks and helping artists

Marketing & social media — helping share our programme with the community

Gardening - join our dedicated garden team and keep our grounds beautiful all year round
Artists
Exhibit Your Work at Castle Park
Our three galleries are available to hire by artists and artist groups for solo shows, group exhibitions and themed collections. We welcome painters, printmakers, sculptors, ceramicists, textile artists, photographers and craft makers at all stages of their career.
We also run artist-led workshops — if you'd like to teach a session at the Centre, you book the room, take your own bookings and keep your own fees. We simply provide the space and the audience.
Options for artists:
- Gallery hire — hire G1, G2, G3, Link or Foyer for your own solo or group show
- Open submission — apply for our curated open exhibitions including the 20×20 show
- Artist-led workshops — run your own sessions using our workshop rooms
- Centre-led exhibitions — apply to be selected for our programme

As a registered charity, Castle Park Arts Centre depends on the generosity of our supporters to keep our galleries free to visit and to fund the programmes that matter most to our community.
Every donation — no matter the size — goes directly into maintaining the galleries, funding exhibitions, supporting artists and keeping the Centre open for the people of Frodsham and beyond.
