The Eddisbury Artists are a group of local artists who meet together to paint and develop their artistic interests.
Initially meeting in a room at the rear of the Post office in Frodsham, they moved to Castle Park Arts Centre in 1996. The group held its first major exhibition at the centre in 1997.
In the summer months the group meets outdoors to paint local scenes, turning to portraiture, still life and life drawing, amongst other things, in the winter months. In addition, the group has visited locations on day trips in the North West and Wales.
In the past the group has been invited to exhibit at the Steam Boat Museum in Bowness, the White House Business Centre in Warrington and to sketch and exhibit at Halton Hospital. We have exhibited at Theatr Clwyd Mold, Bank Quay Gallery Warrington, Birkenhead Pavilion and used to regularly exhibit at the Forest Hills Hotel, Frodsham. We have held regular exhibitions at Castle Park Arts Centre. We have been featured in the Cheshire Life magazine.
