Finding the Arts Centre
The Arts Centre is very close to the centre of Frodsham and is marked by brown tourism signs. If you are travelling on Main Street (A56) towards Chester, the Centre can be found by turning left into Fountain Lane, and then about 200 yards along the lane you will see two stone pillars on the right, they mark the entrance to the Centre.
If you are coming off the motorway and come through Frodsham town Centre, carry on down the Main Street, past the shops, there is a road that runs off to the right, opposite that there is a sharp left hand turn, this is Fountain Lane, there is a small cafe on the corner. Turn left onto Fountain Lane, follow the road for about 200 yards under the railway bridge turn right, through the stone pillar entrance go past the black wrought iron gates and park up in our car park.
We suggest you use POST CODE WA6 6SD this will take you to the entrance by the Arts Centre side of Castle Park and is especially useful to disabled drivers and parking.
Parking at the Arts Centre
There is limited parking, including disabled parking, at the Art Centre itself, using postcode WA6 6SE
The main car park is in Castle Park, use the postcode WA6 6SB. From Main Street (A56) pass the end of Fountain Lane travelling out of Frodsham towards Chester, after passing under the railway bridge take the next turning on the left into Castle Park. This car park is not accessible by road from the Arts Centre but the walk from the car park , either through the Park or following the path behind Castle Park House, will only take a few minutes. Look out for the clock tower on the Arts Centre.
Disabled Parking: |There is only one allocated parking space at the moment to the right of the black gates, however as a disabled driver you are permitted to park in front of the black gates providing you do not obscure the walk way.
The Arts Centre has a range of facilities:
- A cafe serving tea, coffee and light lunches!
- Toilets (including a disabled toilet)
- Disabled Access, including a ramp at the front door. Our lift to the first floor to visit Gallery 3 has been repaired and is fully operational again.
