Alun Evans grew up in north Pembrokeshire.
One of his key subjects remains the coastal and inland landscapes of this area.
Now, working from a studio in Cheshire, he also enjoys responding to environments as diverse as natural and industrial locations around the Mersey Estuary.
His county of residence and the landscape of Australia have also taken his attention.
