Her intuitive response with this body of work stemmed out of the desire to unveil what is hidden within our society.

The powerful use of shapes and colours influence the abstract forms of words, movement, space and symbolism to depict messages that are indiscernible. The philosophical principle of transcendentalists who are strong believers in the power of the individual, and in personal freedom are apparent in the messages she has hidden within this work. Society and its institutions corrupt the purity of the the purity of the individual. True individuality can only be achieved when society and individuals are free from the constraints of government controls. Her influences have derived from her interests in the work of Paul Klee who was fundamentally a transcendentalist who believed that the material world was only one among many realities open to human consciousness. Using figurative and abstract approaches she has produced a range of images and words that are hidden and not openly spoken about.
