Coming soon Lynsey Tyson - Animals and their Landscapes
I'm Lynsey Tyson, artist, horse trainer and a massive admirer of our amazing landscapes and the animals that belong within them. With this in mind, and no particular point to make in my art, except to share the love and enjoyment of these things, my work clearly reflects my passion for our native wildlife and where it belongs.
I am originally from Lancashire, and have family roots in Cumbria, which possibly partly explains my love for wild landscapes and those special bits of wilderness where magical creatures such as the red squirrel still exist.
This exhibition is simply a collection of work, some of it on upcycled roof slates, that I've created purely in order to convey my love for the places where I've been. I attempt to capture the colours, textures, rhythms and especially the light and 'good energy' amongst other things which I can't fully explain, which exist all around us, sometimes on our doorsteps.
I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I did when I created them and still do!
Meet the artist open evening on Friday 27 February 2026 - 9 pm. Everyone Welcome
