Beginners Portrait Painting Workshop in oils/acrylics

Dates/time: Tuesdays 7-9pm, Nov 14th, 21st and 28th, Dec 5th

This class will be taking a look at portraiture painting from beginner to more advanced level using oils/acrylics.

The outline schedule for the workshop will include:

Week 1 - Colour mixing - skin tones, composition/sketching in a portrait ready for painting

Week 2 - Techniques for portrait painting - features e.g. eyes, nose, ears, lips, hair, walkthrough of painting stages for developing a portrait

Week 3 - Commence work on the chosen portrait of your choice

Week 4 - Completing/finishing your chosen portrait

Please note: Portraits can be of animals or people.

All materials & equipment will be provided.

Please bring a reference photo or sketch and a table easel if you have one.

Attendees are also free to bring their own materials/equipment to use during the class.

Cost: £15 per person, per session (pay as you go) or £60 for all 4 sessions payable at the first workshop.
