Pastel and Mixed Media workshop with Les Darlow February 2024

Learn about mark making, texture, energy and movement and how to look at simpler shapes rather than detail.  Learn the art of "LESS IS MORE". Simple techniques to improve your paintings.

Les will supply your pastels and papers, but suggests that if you have pastels to bring your own too, as he has limited colours.  You will need to bring some watercolours or inks etc for the underpainting, brushes, palette, waterpot and an old towel to cover the desk.  Bring a desk easel, drawing board and masking tape.

Paper sand pastels will be supplied.
