Chrissie Youngman - Paintings and Poetry
a Celebration of Paintings, Poetry and Music
Artist Chrissie Youngman studied at the Laird School of Art.
Her Posters advertising Children's Books have been exhibited at the Festival Hall in London. Ecclesiastical Banners, at National Knitting and Stitching Shows" in London, Dublin and Harrogate, also Painting exhibitions at Theatre Clwyd in North Wales, The Williamson Art Gallery Birkenhead, and locally with various Art Societies. Presently at Galeri Betws y Coed.
From the 1990's to 2019 Chrissie worked with various community broadcasters presenting art programmes involving artists writers and poets.
Artwork:
Mixed Media and Collage. depicting Landscape, Seascape, people and animals.
Some of her Poems connected with the artwork will be displayed alongside the paintings.. Poetry booklets illustrating Chrissie's pictures and poems are available for sale. Some of the poems and pictures in the booklets will be displayed on the walls.
Poetry Evenings:
During the running of the exhibition Four Poetry Reading Evenings will be held with Poets from the community coming in to read their poetry, with musicians also playing between the readings. 7-00 to 9-00pm
Meet the Artists Open Evening is on Friday 19 May 2023 7 - 9 pm
