Jennifer Barker has been working with glass for over 27 years.  She is one of the UK’s leading experts in the field of glass fusion. 

She was awarded her BA Degree with a First Class honours from Wolverhampton University in 1996 and then continued her education with an MA in Glass and Business from Staffordshire University.  She began her career as a hot glass blower and more recently moved into kiln based glass-work.  For the last 12 years she has been the head of the Glass department at Glyndwr University. 

She also has a successful glass art business called Melt Designs which has recently moved from Liverpool L1 to Bradley lane in Frodsham.  Jennifer runs a diverse range of inspiring workshops in glass fusing and architectural stained glass from her new studio.
