I first started work as a Glassblower in London in 1991 & have since worked in New Zealand and now Derbyshire. I have exhibited my glass art all over the UK and New Zealand, as well as in Europe, Seattle, USA and Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. My designs have been influenced over the years by a wide selection of the arts, my own photography, nature and the South of England where I grew up.
I am most known for my abstract land and sea side designs on bowls, vases and stoppered bottles. My most recent series of seven designs, called Sea Shore, was influenced by my childhood walks across the South Down's, along estuaries and the pebbled beaches of East Sussex. Many pieces are sandblasted to give a matt finish like sea glass.
