Alun Evans & Tony Jones - Parallel Paths

Two artists whose lives & professional development have moved on parallel paths through the years.

Both were born of Welsh fathers and English mothers, brought up in English speaking homes in Wales, where their fathers had successful careers in local government.

Alun & Tony obtained Fine Art Degrees in Wales and Post Graduate qualifications in London. They first met while teaching in Widnes in Cheshire and subsequently forged links between their education establishments.

Both have daughters living in Sydney, Australia where the families often meet for research purposes.

The defining link between the two friends and artists is the Regional Print Centre in Coleg Cambria in Wrexham where they have developed their imagery through Printmaking.
